What’s so crazy about discovering my true calling is that it was always there. It was always in me. I was too busy being a mom, a mortgage lender, navigating relationships, new house, new career… everything else took center focus. All of that busyness blurred my ability to see that I really had a niche and true calling - not just a passion. It wasn’t until I prayed on it and God gave me the vision of speaking and starting MBS that my whole life flashed before my eyes. Suddenly, I could see it all clearly. My passion for fitness, lifting up women, creating helpful content - these weren’t random interests. They were breadcrumbs leading me to who I was created to be. Your calling isn’t hiding from you. It’s been whispering to you through what brings you joy all along.

Everyone talks about how hard it is to set boundaries with other people. But here’s what no one tells you: The hardest boundary you’ll ever set isn’t with them. It’s with yourself. After my rock bottom moment, I didn’t quit drinking immediately. For nearly two years, I kept breaking my own boundaries because I hadn’t truly set them with myself first.
