I thought I had found myself twice in my life. I was wrong both times. At 14, I went from kid to mom. At 18, from teenage mom to wife. When that marriage ended, I thought ‘FINALLY! Now I can find out who I really am!’ But I just traded one set of roles for another - becoming the party girl I never got to be in high school. It took 20 years and a rock-bottom moment to realize I’d been confusing roles with identity my entire life.

I’ve been struggling with something for months, and I’m done being silent about it. For the past year, I’ve been watering down my message out of fear - fear of losing clients, fear of missing stages, fear of being ‘too much.’ But last week at a conference, I watched two women I’d invited surrender their lives to Christ, and I KNEW… I don’t need to add more to be enough. I need to remove what’s not mine - including the fear that’s been silencing my true calling.
